What happened?

xAI is bringing Grok, Grok Bot, Cursor and X Premium into one subscription. New customers can sign up now; switching is rolling out to existing subscribers.

Premium costs $30 a month. It combines the benefits of SuperGrok, Cursor Pro and X Premium+, which xAI says previously cost $90 a month together. Plus costs $8, Super $100 and Ultra $200 a month. There is also a free tier.

The important part is the shared Grok usage pool. Use Grok in its own app, on X or in Cursor, and it draws from the same allowance. Unused capacity in one product is available in the other. The allowance refreshes weekly.

There is a catch worth knowing: third-party models in Cursor are not included in that pool. On Premium and above, they remain available through separate top-ups at API list prices. Existing Cursor plans keep their current third-party allowance until the subscriber switches.

Why this is interesting

For people already using Grok and Cursor, the bundle can replace several bills with one. But the model mix matters. A developer who mostly uses Claude or OpenAI in Cursor needs to count those extra costs before calling the new plan cheaper.

There is no need to rush. Existing subscriptions continue, and switching offers appear in account billing settings. Compare what you actually use, not just the bundle's headline price.
